As the importance of energy and greenhouse gas has emerged, interest and practice of energy and greenhouse gas policies have been spreading at the central government and regional level. In order to change the energy paradigm and proactively respond, carbon strategy needs to be established.
Therefore, we are aiming at securing energy targets and responding to climate change through grasping energy status and forecasting demand for energy demand management for enterprises, public institutions and local governments.
In addition, through policies and business consulting for greenhouse gas energy target management system and emission trading system, we plan to implement the system smoothly and establish effective reduction plan and roadmap.
As the government announced '2030 Energy New Industries Diffusion Strategy' for preemptive response to the newly changing climate regime, policies and research are needed to cope with the new climate regime.
In this regard, we are developing new energy industries and new energy markets to respond to the new and emerging market needs of enterprises and local governments. Based on our policy research, we are developing new and renewable energy, distributed energy systems, We conduct research, develoment, and business (R & DB) for finding and applying business related to new industry and ICT-based data management.
In addition, we carry out research and projects to establish energy new industry through development of indicators for convergence and performance management with energy new industry and other industries.
EnMS (ISO50001) is an internationally recognized standardized energy management technique that enables energy efficiency improvement activities that all the members of the organization participate, centering on top executives, in order to set and achieve energy efficiency targets of business sites or local governments.
For this purpose, we have set up a strategy for establishing energy management system or building energy management system for energy management of business sites and local governments, consulting for construction, document standardization, and for building an EnMS such as ICT-based AMI, communication and system. We diagnose various conditions and conduct consulting for construction.
In addition, we conduct consulting and education so that we can measure the energy usage and associated independent variables and management variables after the construction of the energy management system and building energy management system in order to reduce the actual energy.
The International Civil Aviation Organization has frozen greenhouse gas emissions in the international aviation sector to the level of 2020 and established an environmental target of 2% improvement in fuel efficiency every year until 2050. In order to reduce GHG emissions in the aviation sector, it is essential to review various measures for securing GHG reduction in the aviation sector in accordance with the domestic GHG emission trading system and the implementation of the carbon offset and reduction system in the international aviation sector.
We will carry out research to address the greenhouse gas reduction system of the aviation sector, such as the Carbon Offsetting Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA), and establish a roadmap for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions through the use of bio-fuel.
